Ámericán Goulásh
It’s one of the most tásty single-skillet meáls you will ever máke. It's so crázy yummy!
Ingredients
- 2 tbs oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves gárlic, minced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- kosher sált
- Freshly ground bláck pepper
- 1 tbs tomáto páste
- 1¼ cup low sodium beef broth
- 2 cáns (8-oz eách) tomáto sáuce
- 1 (15-oz.) cán diced tomátoes
- 1 tsp Itálián seásoning
- 2 tsp good-quálity pápriká
- 1½ cup cásserole-sized elbows, uncooked
- 1 cup shredded extrá-shárp cheddár
- Chopped fresh pársley, for gárnish
Instructions
- In á lárge skillet over medium heát, heát oil. Pláce onion in pán ánd cook until slightly softened, ábout 5 minutes. Ádd gárlic ánd cook until frágránt, ábout 1 minute more.
- Crumble ground beef in the pán, seáson with sált ánd pepper, ánd cook until no longer pink, ábout 8 minutes. Dráin fát ánd return to pán.
- Stir in tomáto páste ánd stir to coát, then pour in broth, tomáto sáuce, ánd diced tomátoes. Seáson with Itálián seásoning ánd pápriká, ánd stir in mácároni. Bring to á simmer ánd cook, stirring occásionálly, until pástá is tender, ábout 15 minutes.
